The Evening MBA Program offers high quality instruction by our dedicated faculty. You set the pace at which you move through the comprehensive curriculum. You will work with our Program Director to map out an individualized program plan of study.
Classes begin at 5:45 p.m., offer a break at 7:00 p.m., and end at 8:35 p.m. Students attend class one evening per week for each class that they take. Most find that two classes a semester is a reasonable workload to balance with work and family commitments. We also offer opportunities for students to network with each other and with our professional and alumni network, a critical benefit of the MBA experience.
The Full-Time MBA Program gives students the opportunity to work with smaller class sizes, fostering close working relationships with faculty and a small cohort of students. You will work closely with our committed faculty, who are involved in ground breaking research and in the trade societies in their fields. Students also gain a well-rounded foundation in the essential competencies of business administration: finance, accounting, marketing, operations, human resource management, information technology, and business ethics.
You will receive guidance and individualized attention from the Program Director, your professors, and our Career Services staff to ensure your success within the program. Our vital global network helps students connect with alumni and business partners for internships, special projects, and job placement, allowing for a gradual transition from student to business professional.
The dedicated faculty members at the University at Albany School of Business are deeply involved in your education, immersing you in current issues and the latest ideas that drive business today. Among the best in New York State, their academic and industry connections will help you start a business career or enhance the one you already have.

Our dedication to improving the lives of our military service men and women also extends to offering support to their spouses and dependents. Both military spouses and their dependents deserve a high-quality education that will benefit their career and improve their family’s well-being. More importantly, they need a career path that's portable, so relocation never gets in the way of reaching their goals. As a military member, your spouse and dependents may be eligible to receive tuition assistance and benefits.
Located in proximity to a number of military bases, the campus also hosts many current and former service members. Organizations such as the Veteran Student Group and Veteran Education Team create a sense of community and help advance veteran initiatives. Formal and informal events are held each year, providing support and recognition for student and faculty veterans.
