Description of Learning Environment for Students

Located between the historic Hamlin Park neighborhood and Delaware Park in the city of Buffalo, N.Y. More than 1.5 million people live in and around the Buffalo area, which boasts two major league sports teams and a host of businesses, employers, arts and culture. Nearby are two Great Lakes, the city of Toronto, and one of the world’s greatest attractions, Niagara Falls.

Our 72-acre campus rests atop a labyrinth of tunnels. The Richard J. Wehle School of Business develops business professionals to lead within their organizations, to excel in the globally competitive marketplace and to behave as ethically and socially responsible individuals. This is achieved through teaching excellence, intellectual vigor and community involvement in the Jesuit tradition. Taking advantage of the economic renewal ongoing in Western New York and international trade with Canada, Canisius provides a unique and vibrant setting for fostering and honing the skills sought by today’s employers.

Located less than three miles from the Buffalo VA Hospital and the VA Education benefits processing center, Canisius combines educational excellence in a truly Veteran friendly community.
