Admission Requirements

Applicants to the University of Florida MBA Programs must have a minimum of two years of significant, full-time, post-baccalaureate work experience (if applying to the Executive MBA program must have a minimum of 8 years of work experience). Applicants must have earned a U.S. Bachelor's degree or its international equivalent. All students must have satisfactory performance in their undergraduate education and the Graduate Management Admission

Description of Learning Environment for Students

The University of Florida prides itself in its ability to create and develop in cross-functional teams. Students will work in a friendly, highly collaborative environment on team projects and other activities. With and average class size of 35, students will participate in a personal and highly interactive academic environment. Our faculty have the opportunity to truly get to know our MBA students. During a typical course, students will review case studies and present their findings. In addition, students have the ability to advance their studies through case competitions and other activities.

The University of Florida has state of the art technology resources to use for graduate studies. Classrooms and the business courtyard are equipped with high speed, wireless network access. Students have access to several databases including Lexis-Nexus, Dow Jones, and many others.

Students participate in social and service activities through several student organizations, most notably the MBA Association. This student led and operated organization enhances the quality of life and provides students an opportunity for increased leadership experience.
