Admission Requirements

All UNC Kenan-Flagler MBA programs require the following for admission:
• Online application form
• Resume
• Essay(s)
• Official transcript(s)
• Two recommendations
• Admissions interview
• Application fees are waived for US military service members

A GMAT or GRE score is required for the full-time MBA program. The Executive MBA and MBA@UNC programs offer GMAT waivers under certain circumstances. Please see EMBA GMAT Waiver and MBA@UNC GMAT Waiver for more details. TOEFL or other language exam scores may also be required.

Tuition and Fees*
• Full-time MBA: $40,112 for NC residents; $57,510 for non-residents
• Executive MBA Evening Program: $79,500
• Executive MBA Weekend Program: $105,000
• Executive MBA Global OneMBA®: $109,000
• MBA@UNC: approx. $99,675 ($1510.23 per credit hour, 66 credit hour program)

*Estimated for 2015-16 academic year. Tuition and fees are finalized in the summer before each fall semester. Note that tuition is expected to increase each academic year. Includes tuition and mandatory fees. Additional living expenses such as housing and books not included. See the Tuition and Financial Aid section of our website for the most current estimates.

Military Scholarships

All admitted students to UNC Kenan-Flagler are eligible for merit-based fellowships (scholarships).

Post-9/11 GI Bill And Yellow Ribbon Program

All UNC Kenan-Flagler MBA programs take part in the Post 9/11 GI Bill. The full-time MBA program also participates in the Yellow Ribbon Program, which closes the gap between the cost of the program and the in-state tuition rate covered by the Post 9/11 GI Bill.

Application Credit For Military Service

U.S. military service members qualify for an application fee waiver for all UNC Kenan-Flagler MBA programs.

Concentrations

Colonel R. Kirk Lawrence, U.S. Army (Ret.), Director of Federal Programs, Executive Development
Dr. Robert (Bob) Connolly, Associate Professor of Finance. Between 2005 and 2013, Dr. Connolly ran a substantial outreach effort to soldiers, sailors, airmen and Marines serving in dangerous, rustic locations in Iraq and Afghanistan. The effort sent an estimated 14 tons of care packages (well over 2,000 care packages) with the help of the UNC Kenan-Flagler and Chapel Hill community. Dr. Connolly is also heavily involved in UNC Executive Development for veterans, organizing and leading finance seminars and programs for the U.S. Navy, Air Force, Marines, National Guard and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
