Military

The University of Arizona participates in Post-9/11 GI Bill and Yellow Ribbon Program.

There is an active Veterans Education and Transition Services program (VETS) at the University of Arizona. VETS incorporates academics, institutional access, student involvement and research not only to support the success of our enrolled student veterans, but to understand their experience more authentically to maintain a program that is effective and innovative.

Supportive Education for Returning Veterans (SERV) classes are offered, which is an academic and workforce success program for returning veterans. The program consists of three college-credit, general education courses that will help you convert your military training and experience into lifelong success skills. Description of Learning Environment for Students

The Eller MBA Program is one of the smallest among leading MBA programs nationwide, averaging 60 students or less per class. With a diverse and committed group of 121 full-time faculty, our faculty to student ratio is 1:5, giving students a focused and supportive learning environment. Eller is highly regarded for its Management Information Systems Department and McGuire Center for Entrepreneurship. US News & World Report 2012 ranks our programs among the best in the nation with the MIS program ranked #5 and the Entrepreneurship program #11 among all graduate programs.

The Eller MBA experience is focused on innovation, application, and communication — a system that gives graduates what they need to effectively lead in today’s rapidly changing global marketplace.

The Eller College fosters a culture of innovation — not just because it is home to the top-ranked McGuire Center for Entrepreneurship — but because its faculty members are focused on game-changing research. The latest research can take up to ten years to appear in textbooks, but Eller faculty bring it to the classroom immediately.

That classroom knowledge comes to life for students through application — real-world, real-time projects that challenge assumptions and force you to become comfortable making good decisions based on strong analysis when there is no right answer. Field project consulting experiences, case competitions, internships, investment management, and global business trips are just a few examples of ways that Eller MBAs apply their coursework.

Accomplishments/Recognition

The Evening MBA ranks #25 according to the U.S. News & World Report survey.
