MBA Degree Programs
Delaware Valley College is a small, private institution of higher learning, offering an MBA degree program that is responsive to the ever-changing business marketplace. Students may choose from four MBA specializations:
- MBA in Accounting
- MBA in Food & Agribusiness
- MBA in General Business
- MBA in Global Executive Leadership (Online)Comprehensive Distance MBA Program offered in a 2-year or 4-year format
Admission Requirements
Admission to the Delaware Valley College MBA Program is competitive.
Successful applicants possess intellectual curiosity, strong analytical
ability, and effective communication skills. The ideal candidate works
well with others, seeks opportunities to manage projects and lead
people, and consistently exceeds expectations. Post-baccalaureate work
experience is recommended, but not required for admission to the
program. Baccalaureate transcript, military experience, volunteer
service, and community and extracurricular activities are considered in
the admissions process.
Completion of undergraduate course work in economics,
accounting, finance and statistics are required for matriculation.
Students who did not complete these prerequisites as undergraduates are
provided with the opportunity to complete business primer courses that
will ensure success in the MBA program.
Delaware Valley College’s MBA program has a rolling admissions policy. The following are required for admission:
- Application
- Three Letters of Reference
- Undergraduate transcript(s)
- $50 Application Fee (waived for active duty military)
- Officers should provide a copy of the 1059 for ILE or CGSC

2010-2011 MBA Tuition is $675/credit.
Description of Learning Environment for Students
Classes are held at Delaware Valley College’s main campus in
Doylestown, Pennsylvania, at several satellite locations in the
Philadelphia region, and are also available online. Students may enroll
part time or full time.
The Delaware Valley College MBA program focuses on
contemporary business issues in the global economy. You are already a
proven leader. In DelVal’s MBA program, you will build on the
leadership skills you acquired while serving, and you will gain
knowledge and insight in strategic management, emphasizing integrative
decision making to meet the challenging needs and opportunities of the
corporate business world.
The program organizes studies around a core body of knowledge
in finance, accounting, human resource management, marketing, and
operations. The program is further enhanced by specialized functional
courses. A total of 33 hours (34 hours for the accounting
specialization) of graduate courses are required to attain the MBA
degree.
Faculty
Delaware Valley believes in stepping outside tradition and delivering new approaches to both educational and social challenges. Our graduate faculty are experienced teachers from civilian, military and veteran ranks, and each works in his or her respective field of expertise. This wealth of experience provides a solid foundation for the proven DelVal method of combining classroom and hands-on learning, enabling students to experience an education steeped in the realities of everyday life.
